Cataract Surgery in Glaucoma
Cataract surgery involves removing the natural crystalline lens inside the eye and replacing with an artificial one. It is often associated with a drop in eye pressure and can be combined with a minimally invasive glaucoma surgery such as iStent Inject or laser such as Micropulse Cyclophotocoagulation.

It is also a good treatment for angle closure or angle closure glaucoma as removing the bulky natural lens and replacing with a thin artificial one frees up space in the front of the eye and opens the drainage channel.
